We rush around, going from one task to the next practically yelling at each other. We are in such a hurry all the time that we don’t stop to calm down and listen to things around us. Our culture is too busy worrying about what we are going to do or what will happen tomorrow, or the next day or the next. We don’t stop to think about right now. No. We talk our own lives away and never know the full effect that silence can have. Silence is empowering, and we are a weak species. If only we stopped to say, “Wow, this moment, right now, is beautiful, and that’s all that matters.”

  1. I really love your blog post! I totally agree with you. Now a days, our own society is as you said, “…in such a hurry all the time…”. Our society is very busy. Each and everyone of us are always socializing with each other whether we are on our phones or just hanging out and chatting with each other. Also, yes it is true that we are very busy worrying about what we are going to do next or what is going to happen next. However, when we are in silence, we always think that it is awkward. That is why we have a saying, “Awkward Silence”. When we are in silence, we try to hold in everything to ourselves especially our laughter.
